Welcome back to Mixed Blessings Dictionary

The website is back after a 2-year hiatus!

The Mixed Blessings Dictionary explains portmanteau words such as these: bapticostal, bujew, buddhapalian, conservadox, episcolutheran, episcopagan, fundagelical, jewnitarian, methobapterian, metheran, pentevangelical, prescopalian, quanglican, and sushi.

Mixed Blessings accurately defines more than a thousand of these real-life religious blend words, and the entries display authentic quotations from books, newspapers, and blogs to show the ingenious ways people are using these extraordinary words.

Many of the dictionary’s fascinating entries will be posted here on the website, and actual printed booklets (also called fascicles) will be available for sale in the website shop soon.
